Location Highlights

Altitude is one of the newest complexes in Sun Peaks set to be completed approximately New Year's 2023, with most units ready for the start of the 2022/23 winter season.

This complex features a combination of 2- and 3-bedroom condos and townhomes with great east village ski-in/ski-out.The next closest locations are Lookout Ridge Drive, the Powder Heights complex (under construction), and Bridge Gate. Down the street and around the corner are Woodhaven, Echo Landing, Stone's Throw and Settler's Crossing.

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT INFORMATION:This location is so new that we don't have the full details for ski-in/ski-out yet! It will be based on the East Village Ski Way from Orient.

On your way up to Sun Peaks following the main Sun Peaks Road, you'll pass by the Burfield Chairlift on the left, and just before the Fire Hall you'll turn right on to Burfield Drive.

About one-third of the way down Burfield Drive is a trail leading over to the Burfield Chairlift, so depending on where your property is located on this street that may be anywhere from a 1-to-10 minute walk away. Burfield Drive connects to Fairways Drive on the way up to the main village, or you can take the main Sun Peaks Road up.If you turn left onto Sun Peaks Road, you'll see the commercial section of the Peaks West complex just across the way which features the Magic Cattle Guard restaurant and Ohana Deli & Market.

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT INFORMATION:Individual ski-in/ski-out information for properties we manage on Burfield Drive will be published on the property's listing directly as each home's location is unique. Most homes on Burfield Drive will be ski-in by taking Home Run to Fairways Ski-Back which turns in to Burfield Return. Check your alpine map and plot your course.

Crystal Forest is a long-time favourite choice of families. This complex provides private condos while still being just a short 3 - 5 minute walk to the main village. If you don't want to be directly in the main village but still have the convenience of being close by, this complex is a great option!

Crystal Forest has a unique feature of a courtyard in the middle of the complex with privacy from the main road. The next closest complexes are McGillivray Creek across the street, Trail's Edge to one side, and Forest Trails diagonally across the street.

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT INFORMATION: From the top of Sundance or Orient, take any run that connects to Mt Morrisey Connector which will bring you behind the complex.

To ski-out, take the Valley Trail behind the complex to the Mt Morrisey Connector. This will take you to both the Morrisey and Orient Express chairlifts. Alternatively, it's approximately a 3 - 5 minute walk to the top of the main village where you can ski or board down to the Sundance and Sunburst chairlifts.

Douglas Court is just above Sundance Drive, and offers some of the most extraordinary homes in Sun Peaks (often called our little town's "Hollywood"!). Each home is built to incredible standards, with character and quality both remarkable and unique. You may want to take a drive up this street just to check out the homes!

Homes on this street offer luxury not just because of the spectacular craftsmanship, but also due to the fact that most offer convenient ski-in/ski-out access, and are within a 10 minute walk to the main village but offer enough distance that you won't have to worry about the bustle and noise.

Echo Landing is one of the newest constructions in Sun Peaks with the first set of buildings completed in fall of 2019. Most of the options offered at this complex are 2- or 3-bedroom properties.

This complex features awesome views down the valley of the top of Tod Mountain, and Mt Morrisey across the way. Located approximately a 10-to-15 minute walk to the main village area, this complex is also ski-in/ski-out by way of both the Morrisey Express and new Orient Express chairlifts.The next closest complexes are Woodhaven to one side, and Settler's Crossing to the other (with Stone's Throw located just past that).

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT INFORMATION:To ski in from the top of Sundance, use the Rambler run to connect to the East Village Ski Way which leads back to the complex.To ski in from the top of Orient, take a skier's right to get on to East Village Ski Way, or, heading left, use a short section of either Czesc or Hasta La Vista to connect to East Village Ski Way.To ski out, cross the road and use the East Village Ski Way to get down to the Morrisey or Orient Express chairlifts. Alternatively, it's about a 3-5 minute walk down to these chairlifts.

Fairways Drive is one of the original roadways built to support the growing demand for chalet homes at Sun Peaks. Located right along the base of Mt Morrisey, most homes feature beautiful views of Morrisey and Mt Tod and those along Morrisey will also likely offer ski-in opportunities via the Fairways Ski-Back cutoff.

Fairways Drive stretches from just below the village, at the top of The Peaks complex, to just before the start of Burfield Drive, so the walking distance to the Sunburst and Sundance chairlifts in the main village, or the Burfield chairlift at the base of the resort, depend on where your property is located on this street.

Most properties on Fairways Drive will be ski-in by using the Fairways Ski-Back cut-off, which can be reached from various green/blue/black runs.

Forest Trails is just a short 3-to-5 minute walk to the main village by way of the valley trail. More than any other location on the mountain Forest Trails blends in to the forestry behind the complex. You'll love taking a walk along the valley trail to enjoy the small wooden bridge over a gentle babbling creek where you can feel truly embraced by nature. The next closest complexes are Powder Ridge, across the street from the lower numbered units, Trail's Edge and Crystal Forest across the street from the higher numbered units, and past the forest on the other side of the valley trail are Timberline and Snow Creek Village.

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT INFORMATION:From the top of Sundance, take Rambler down to the Mt Morrisey Connector and take the To Sundance Estates cut-off. This leads out to directly across the street from the complex. Alternatively, you can take Rambler to Gentle Giant and take the cut-off about halfway down which leads behind the Snow Creek Village complex. This will lead you to the Valley Trail behind Forest Trails as well so it's just a short walk up to the complex.

To ski out, you can take the Valley Trail down to the top of the main village at approximately a 3 - 5 minute walk, where you can ski or board down to the Sunburst and Sundance chairlifts. Alternatively, you can walk up Sundance Drive to hop on Gentle Giant which leads to the base of the Sunburst and Sundance chairlifts.

Centrally located in the Sun Peaks village across from the Sports Centre, the Kookaburra Lodge offers deluxe modern designer styled suites overlooking McGillivray Creek.

All suites offer electric fireplaces, telephones, internet, in suite laundry, TV, fully equipped kitchens, and most have a private outdoor hot tub on their balcony. Guest facilities include elevator, ski lockers, underground parking, a variety of on-site restaurants, and retail shops. The Kookaburra Lodge accommodates both those looking for a weekend getaway, as well as extended stays.

Peaks West is one of the newest constructions in Sun Peaks, and the ground level is home to a new commercial section that features the Ohana Deli & Market, and the Magic Cattle Guard restaurant. Peaks West is just up the street from the Burfield Chairlift, and approximately a 10-to-15 minute walk to the main village and Sundance and Sunburst Chairlifts.

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT INFORMATION:From the top of Burfield, use 5 Mile and follow it down until you can take the Burfield Outrun cut-off. This will lead in to Munro Ridge which leads to the base of the Burfield chairlift. Any series of runs that will connect you to Burfield Outrun and/or Munro Ridge can be used as ski-in - check your alpine map and plan your day! It's just a short walk from the Burfield chairlift over to Peaks West, and vice versa.

Powder Heights is a complex of condos and townhomes that is being constructed between late 2023 - early 2025. Located in the far east of Sun Peaks, this complex is just past Bridgegate and across from Lookout Ridge, running alongside Hole 15 of the Sun Peaks Golf Course with a great view of the green!

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT INFORMATION:

To ski in from the top of Orient, take Ausfahrt or Kia Ora to get on the East Village Ski Way. From the top of Sundance, you can take Rambler to get onto the East Village Ski Way. This will lead down to the cul-de-sac of Valley Drive and the far right side of the Powder Heights complex. To ski out, at the far right side of the complex head down the 15th / 16th holes of the golf course to use the East Village Ski Way, past the Skier Underpass to get to either the Orient Express or the Morrisey chairlift.

Location Highlights

Powder Ridge is a deluxe townhome complex of only 7 three-storey homes, with great ski-in/ski-out access and the convenience of only being a short walk away from the main village. Being that there are so few properties in this complex, and not all of them are rented nightly, these properties tend to book fast! The next closest complexes are Forest Trails right across the street, and down the valley trail you can get to Timberline and Snow Creek Village.

From the top of Sundance, get on Rambler and take the Mt Morrisey Connector cut-off. From here, take the To Sundance Estates cut-off which leads directly back to the complex. To ski out, it's just a short walk up the street to take Gentle Giant down to the Sunburst and Sundance Express chairlifts.You can also cross the street and take the Valley Trail and follow this down to the main village where these chairlifts are located.

Settler's Crossing is a great complex that ranges from studio apartments to three-storey condos, so you're bound to find a place suitable for your next holiday. Settler's Crossing is located in the East Village which means the complex is ski-in/ski-out by way of the Orient and Morrisey chairlifts. It is approximately a 10 - 15 minute walk to the main village or just a short drive.

The next closest complexes are Stone's Throw and Echo Landing, which sandwich Settler's Crossing on both sides, so if you want family or friends to book close by there's essentially triple the options! Settler's Crossing has a few underground parkades with a clearance height of 2.29m (7'6"). There are signs on the outside of each parkade indicating which units have parking stalls for that parkade. There is a small temporary parking zone for the purpose of loading/unloading to the left side of the entrance of the complex.

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT INFORMATION:
From the top of Sundance, use the Rambler run to connect to the East Village Ski Way, and get on Hasta La Vista to return to the complex. From the top of Orient, you can take Hasta La Vista directly down.

Alternatively, the East Village Ski Way can be used to access the next complex over and it's just a short walk back to Settler's Crossing. To ski-out, from the lower-numbered side of the complex, pass the trees to hop on Hasta La Vista and under the Skier Underpass to get to the Morrisey and Orient Express chairlifts. Alternatively, walking to these chairlifts takes approximately 3 - 5 minutes.

Location Highlights

As the name implies, Sundance Drive is located on the slopes of Sundance Mountain, providing excellent ski-in and ski-out from virtually all properties. The homes along Sundance are among the most beautiful at Sun Peaks and are always large and well suited for multi-family gatherings. In most cases, you can also walk to the village in just minutes since many of these homes are located just above the village with access to the valley trail.
